Now it blooms!

On Thursday I was really getting impatient and wondering when I would see these flowers. It would seem as though the whole process speeds up at the end, because today I have three blooms! I think it was worth the wait.

I won't say any more - I'll just show you.

  • Wow those were certainly worth the wait weren't they? Such impressive blooms. I have a little spiney one that has been threatening to bloom for me since I bought it this winter.

    I'm sure your wait has not been that long. It has set and dropped buds once since them and now the bugs are back and I'm pretending to ignore it and not care to see if it will finally bloom!

  • Yes, they were really worth it - and they stayed open for just over a week so the 4th one got to catch up and join them. I had four open this past weekend but these three have finally closed.

    I had about a two-month wait since the buds first appeared. Seemed very long since I am more used to Mammillarias and Gymno that are much quicker.
