Not one of my favourites but still an interesting flower (despite the smell) .

I took a close-up of the centre..... kind of hypnotic, I think.

I have a stapelia hirsuitia I think it is called, with darker, hairy flowers, very interesting. BTW what cacti are indiginous to Jamaica?

About the indigenous cacti - there are a few (maybe ten or so) that I know of but I don't have the names at hand. Right now I can think of Mammillaria columbiana, Consolea spinosissimma, Hylocereus ...

I'd have to look it up so that I don't provide incorrect information.
