Turbinicarpus
Initially, I was very hesitant about growing this genus because I just expected them to be difficult. My first success with Turbinicarpus klinkerianus led me to try others. They bloom regularly - this is one from earlier this year...
This year my Turbinicarpus lophophoroides bloomed at only two years old.
I am nurturing several others now and hope to have similar success - T. swobdae, T. schwarzii, T. polaskii, T. valdezianus, T. laui, T, 'lilinkiuiduus'. So far, at least they are alive and growing, so I just have to watch and see.
